Enable MoboLink Trial on Android Devices

Target Devices

This document is intended for the following devices:

PA700	PA700 Android 4.1 WiFi PA700 Android 4.1 3G PA700 Android 4.3 WiFi PA700 Android 4.3 3G
TB120	TB120 Android 4.3

OS Version Prerequisite

In order for MoboLink to work, the OS Image Version needs to meet certain requirements. The following table lists the OS version required for each of the model. If your device OS version does not meet this requirement, please upgrade your device OS image first.

Software Prerequisites

Third party software providing Remote Desktop function is required. Please download the following two apps from the Google Play Store

Team Viewer Quick Support	Open Google Play Store on your device, search for "Team Viewer Quick Support" and install the app.
QS: Unitech	Open Google Play Store on your device, search for "unitech" and install the "QS Add-on: Unitech" app into your device.

Configure Device to Enable MoboLink

Please use the steps below to enable MoboLink Trial:
Step1:
Upgrade your device OS if it does not meet the OS Version Requirement above.

Step2:
Install Team Viewer apps as listed above.

Step3:
Copy the downloaded BootstrapServerURL.dat to your device's Internal Storage.

Step4:
Edit Autoexec.txt located in Your Device\Internal Storage\Autoexec.txt
(Note: if your device does not contain this file, create one).

Step5:
Insert this command line to the beginning of the Autoexec.txt file:
   com.unitech.mobolink

Step6:
Configure your device's network adapter (WiFi/3G) so it is able to connect to the public internet

Step7:
Reboot (warm boot) the device.
