About MoboLink
What is MoboLink?
MoboLink is a software platform that helps unitech customers to remote manage their purchased devices and applications. The core of the MoboLink platform provides functionalities in the MDM (Mobile Device Management) and MAM (Mobile Application Management) domains, and then further extends into other management functions such as alert notification management and account management.
Management of the devices and application will never been easier with MoboLink, and we are hoping this software can help you to reduce the time resolving device issues, and so you can focus more on getting your jobs done.
The table below lists the key features of this software:
System Dashboard |
The System Dashboard allows you to take a quick glance on the most up to date status of management tasks, alarm notifications, and logs of system activities. This means that when you see an abnormality on the dashboard, you can take actions quickly to fix the problems early. |
Device Management |
Device Management allows you to remotely monitor device status, control the devices' hardware modules, and lock the device if any security concern arises. Hardware components can be turned on or off at your command if you do not wish the device 3G network adapter be used without permission, for example. |
Application Management |
Application Management allows you to not only remotely manage the applications to be installed on your devices, it also manages the firmware upgrade remotely just in a few clicks of a mouse. You schedule a task to install, uninstall, upgrade, or delete an application remotely on a device when it is not in use, or even schedule reoccurred tasks to activate different applications for each work shifts everyday depending on your business needs. |
Group Management |
Group Management allows you to issue management tasks in a group, so you can do things like update all your devices' firmware after hours, install a new version of your application to all your devices, or lock/unlock specific group of devices at different times of a day. When a group task failed to execute due to partial failure on a subset of devices, you can redo the tasks at a later time, and it will pick up the failed devices and execute the task again from the last failed point. |
Notification Management |
You can set up alarm rules and have MoboLink notify you by e-mail when the alarm is triggered, so you can have a piece of mind knowing that when something goes abnormal you will be the first one to know it. Alarm rules can be set up against things like battery level, temperature, storage sizes, memory sizes and so forth. |
Account Management |
You can set up additional accounts for different roles in the system. For example, an assistant may only get access to the Dashboard to monitor status, but Customer Service personnel can get access to additional features such as device/application management and remote desktop functions. |
Remote Desktop |
Sometimes when a device has issues, one of the best way is to log onto the device and see the device screens. The Remote Desktop feature allows you to do just that. Windows Mobile, Windows CE, and Android based hardware models are supported. |
Logs & Reports |
5 Log types and 4 Report templates are provided for you to see and analyze for potential issues, or just to save the log data for auditing uses. The report data can be exported to a spreadsheet file so you can view it offline at any time. |
